To live in Iceland

I moved to Iceland in 2012. When I came here to stay it was winter. Where I come from it does not snow and at the beginning the magic flakes coming from the sky seemed to be amazing.
They are still pretty amazing but now it depends more on my mood and how long the winter have already been.
Since I am here I live, somehow, among Icelanders. I live with an Icelandic family and I have always work with people (small people or bigger people).
I have lived in the famous 101, in the suburbs of the "big city" and in a farm. I have traveled quite much, visited many parts of this big giant on who we live and being fascinated by what I see, hear and feel.
I distinguish three different levels:
On the bottom is "the island" itself, this big rock full of life and energy. On the island walking and living on its surface is the people, generally called "the Icelandic society". And above us the climatological effects: the rain, snow, whole nights of light and whole days of darkness.

I love the first level, the second one is weird and the third one may be amazing (the lights, the auroras, the big white flakes, the middle night sun...) but it may also drives me crazy (the never-ending rain, the long dark winter...).

Right now we are suffering a period of "instability" days become longer and make you feel like summer is basically here, but it is still cold, and it rains quite much and for the last days we had every weather phenomena every day, it rains and after a while it comes the sun, suddenly it starts snowing, hail and many other forms of frozen water, it is cloudy and sunny after a while, and you can feel happy and energetic, sad and tired or everything together according to the weather.
